Trail Boss's Brisket Chili

How to Cook Trail Boss's Brisket Chili:

  1. Sear the Brisket: In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the brisket cubes and sear on all sides until browned. Remove and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Vegetables: In the same pot, add the onion, garlic, and bell peppers. Sauté until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beans, beef broth, and all the spices. Stir well to combine.
  4. Simmer the Chili: Return the brisket to the pot. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 3 hours, stirring occasionally. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  5. Serve: Ladle the chili into bowls and top with your favorite toppings like cheese, sour cream, or fresh cilantro.
