Smoky BBQ Brisket Sliders with Ranch Coleslaw

How to Cook Smoky BBQ Brisket Sliders with Ranch Coleslaw:

  1. Prepare the Brisket — Generously season the brisket with salt, black pepper, and BBQ rub, making sure it’s well-coated. Let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes while you prepare your smoker or oven.
  2. Cook the Brisket — Place the brisket in a smoker at 225°F (or an oven if a smoker isn’t available) and cook low and slow for about 8-10 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F and the meat is tender. Brush with BBQ sauce during the last hour of cooking for a nice glaze. Remove from heat and let it rest for 30 minutes before slicing or shredding.
  3. Make the Ranch Coleslaw — In a large bowl, combine the coleslaw mix with ranch dressing, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper. Toss everything together until well coated. Let the coleslaw chill in the fridge while the brisket rests.
  4. Assemble the Sliders — Slice or shred the brisket and place a generous portion on each slider bun. Top with a spoonful of ranch coleslaw and add the top bun. Serve warm and enjoy!
