  • 1 Lazy T Dry-Aged Prime Rib (about 3-4 lbs)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4-6 French rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Season the prime rib with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high and sear the meat on all sides.
  3. Place the prime rib in a roasting pan. Sauté onions and garlic in the same skillet, then deglaze with red wine.
  4. Add beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme to the skillet and simmer.
  5. Pour this mixture over the prime rib, cover, and roast for about 4 hours, or until tender.
